The short version: if you join the waitlist we store your email address so we can email you once, on the day Tarz goes live. If you write to support we keep your message so we can answer it. We do not sell either, share either, or add you to a newsletter. Ask us to delete your data and we will.

What we collect

• Your email address (required — it is the only way to tell you about launch).
• The market you selected, if you chose one, and whether you build stores for clients. Both optional. We use them to prioritise what we build.
• The country code your request arrived from, which Cloudflare adds automatically, and the page the form was submitted from.
• If you contact support: your name, email address, message, and — if you chose to include them — your store URL and theme version. We use them only to answer you and to fix what you reported.

Analytics — only if you say yes

We ask before measuring anything. A small banner offers Google Analytics; until you accept it, this site sets no analytics cookie, runs no tracker, and sends no request to Google or any other third party — fonts are served from this domain. If you accept, Google Analytics (GA4) counts visits and pages so we can see what matters; it sets its _ga cookies and your visit data goes to Google, acting as our processor. Decline — or simply ignore the banner — and nothing loads. Your choice is remembered on this device only (if your browser blocks storage, we simply ask again), and you can change it here any time:

Why we are allowed to hold it

You asked us to. Under the GDPR this is consent, given by submitting the form, for the single stated purpose of telling you when the product launches. You can withdraw it at any time and the withdrawal costs you nothing. Analytics runs on the same basis: consent, given through the banner, withdrawable with the button above.

Where it lives

Waitlist entries are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, and mirrored to our email provider so the launch email can be sent. Support messages are stored the same way and delivered to our inbox. All are processors acting on our instructions. If you accepted analytics, visit statistics are processed by Google (GA4), also on our instructions. Nobody else receives your data.

How long we keep it

Waitlist addresses: until the launch email is sent, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first. If Tarz never launches, we delete the list and tell you we did. Support messages: for as long as the conversation is open, plus what we need to keep track of reported bugs; ask and we delete yours.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@tarztheme.com and we will action it within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to your national data protection authority.
